Updated Leprechaun Hundreds Charts

When I originally began making hundreds chart activities, I didn't think to always try to fill in the background color so students would be engaged with the majority of the numbers to 100. I basically only required them to color the item that would be revealed in the picture. Now, I always try to add background colors.

I updated my Leprechaun chart listing to include a new chart, along with the old one. You can see the differences in the picture below. The old one (on the right) is much easier because of all the white space. However, it would also be better for differentiating instruction for kiddos who seem to be overwhelmed by nearly 100 numbers. I'm leaving it up to you to decide which one to use with your class if you choose to purchase it. :) If you've already purchased the chart, but sure to go back and download the new update.

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover Mini Math & Literacy Unit

I feel like it's been forever since my last post. In the past week, we took a mini road trip to St. Louis to take my sister-in-law, niece and nephew to St. Louis to leave for Germany for the next few years. They were so excited to be reunited with my brother who is in the Army. The day after we got back, my dad was admitted into the hospital with a blood clot in his arm and chest pains. The following day, my mom went home for the evening and ended up having to take my grandma to the hospital. She tested positive for the flu and pneumonia. She and my dad were at separate hospitals. Last night, a group of teachers and I volunteered after school at Convoy of Hope. Needless to say, I haven't been home much at all lately, so my blogging time has been limited.

At school, we have been testing every spare second to be ready for report cards to go home Friday. Spring Break is next week and we have Kindergarten Academy tomorrow, which means...SUB PLANS! We have school on Monday, but from Tuesday on, I may end up crashing and sleeping through spring break for a mini hibernation. :)

Tonight, I finally had a chance to sit down and work on my mini unit for There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Cover. I discounted the price to $2 since I'm so late in posting it. Feel free to check it out on TpT if you like.

If you haven't already, be sure to head over to Can Do Kinders and print Pam's fabulous emergent reader to go with There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover.

I just purchased some more adorable graphics from Scrappin' Doodles, so look for some Easter freebies soon!

St. Patrick's Day Math and Literacy Work Stations

Luck has a peculiar habit of favoring those who don't depend on it.  ~Author Unknown

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light. May good luck pursue you each morning and night. ~Irish Blessing

I'm feeling lucky that although I live between two towns that were affected by tornadoes last night,  we were unharmed and had no damage to our house or farm. My heart breaks for people who have to literally pick up the pieces of their lives when others, like me, get by with no more than luck and faith. Please pray for those who have to start new and for those who lost family members.

I know I've said it a million times before, but I feel blessed to have such wonderful readers. We are all trying to do the best for our students that we know to do and sometimes, we can't do it on our own. I am humbled by the sweet comments you leave and the emails I get from you.  You are an inspiration!

To celebrate the first day of March tomorrow, I've posted a St. Patrick's Day Math and Literacy Work Stations Mini Unit that includes 37 pages.

Lucky Leprechauns Addition Game

March Math and Literacy Stations {Linky Party}

March Math & Literacy Stations Linky Party!

I cannot believe how fast February is flying by! I am currently working on trying to get a jump start on March station ideas for Math and Literacy. Hopefully this will give everyone enough time to get things added, as well as, time to get things printed and assembled for March. I don't have a whole lot added yet, but I'll add things as I find them.

If you have additional freebies or things that don't fit into the work stations category, feel free to list them, as well.  We don't want to miss out on anything fabulous!
If you would like to include a link to your own items, please fill out the form below. Your activities can be free or for sale. You can link to as many products or activities as you would like.
