As the leaves and temperature have started changing with the arrival of fall, I'm feeling all the love for all the cute creatures out and about around our place! Seeing the deer munching in the field tonight inspired me to create some new bookmarks. 

These free fall woodland animals bookmarks are a great way to encourage reading engagement, add to seasonal displays and activities, and just for fun for those students that always want to visit the bookmark basket after check out. Does anyone else feel like they refill the bookmark basket (or whatever yours is called) on a daily basis? My students absolutely LOVE bookmarks! Plus, these will add a cozy touch to our library space. 

 Who doesn't love having a few snow days in January to get something accomplished that equates to sharing some freebie 💗love💗 with other librarian friends? 

I'm a second-year member of the Missouri Association of School Librarians  (MASL) Curriculum Committee (formerly Lesson Plan Database Task Force) which allows me to curate and create free lesson plans for librarians for the MASL Lesson Plan Database. You could use these for regular library lessons or they would also be great as substitute plans.
