Last year I created a Google Site with book trailers and author bio links for the Mark Twain Readers Award Nominees and I really enjoyed having everything at my fingertips when I got ready to introduce my students to all the nominated books and authors, so I decided to do it again this year.
If you are a Missouri elementary librarian, you might find this beneficial, too. Even if you aren't, there are always amazing books on all of our state Readers Awards nominee lists and I am positive this year won't disappoint! Click
here or on the picture below to take you to the site. One or two of the books doesn't have a book trailer yet, but I will add them when I notice they have been added to YouTube.
For the last several months before our COVID-19 school closure, I had been reading The Truth as Told By Mason Buttle to some of my students and they were really enjoying it. I am sad that our school year ended abruptly and we weren't able to finish it. However, I was overjoyed to see it on the Mark Twain Readers Award Nominee list for this upcoming year!
I am thinking I need to see which of these books are ebooks so I can start reading them while I have more time at home. ;) Have you read any of these?
