This year I became the K-12 District Library Media Specialist for our schools. I am going between our elementary school library in the mornings and our junior high/high school library in the afternoons. Since our high school library hadn't been used as a library in several years, I inherited a pretty massive mess, but couldn't wait to take it on! I love organizing! One of the first things I needed was better signage. I wasn't able to afford much on my library budget, so as I laid in bed thinking of anything and everything sturdier than cardstock,
Dollar Tree cutting boards popped into my head and the rest is history!
I can't wait to make some of these for our elementary library, as well. Only I think I will print colored pictures on cardstock and just fold them over the ends of the cutting boards and cover over them with packing tape.
