Sorry for the snoozefest!

I apologize that my little ol' blog has been a snoozefest of activity the last couple of days. We were out of school Monday and Tuesday for snow days and Wednesday was our Valentine's Party. My list of things to share with you is a mile long and I feel like every single thing is important, but I haven't been able to drag myself away from my family.

I've enjoyed EVERY single minute with my kiddos and husband that I can while I've been home. My babies have shared icky upper respiratory germs, so there's a whole lotta coughin' goin' on at our house right now. (My poor babies!)

So, instead of posting about teacher relevant things, I'll share with you a few pics of our fun in the snow on Tuesday.

(Don't judge that they don't have their hats/earmuffs on in all of these pictures. I made them take them off for less than 5 seconds per picture so I could get a few clear shots. My daughter's face kept being hidden by her ginormous, furry hood.)

This isn't even our dog, but she has adopted us and we really like her. She showed up one day a few months ago just skin and bones. We fed her and she hasn't ever tried to leave. She almost matches our other beagle so we call them Copper and Non-Copper.
Were any of you able to enjoy some fun in the snow this week?

    1. Thank you, Shawna! Everyone says both of our kids are definitely 'ours'. :) When my son was born, he looked exactly like my husband and my daughter looks just like me. My son is on the mend, but my daughter's getting a little worse. Her fever keeps going up and down. I hate it when my babies are sick. It breaks my heart that I can't take their sickness away. :(

Thank you for being sweet, as always!

  3. You have such beautiful children! Sorry to hear that you've all been feeling under the weather. I used to wish it would be me and not them whenever they got sick; it's so hard to watch them go through it, feeling so helpless sometimes. We have been hosting coughing symphony at my house too, so I know just how you feel--love, love, love Vick's Vapo-Steam. Get better soon!

    Your blogging buddy,
    Frances

PS. I love following your blog! :)

    1. Hi Frances!

I love that you call it a 'coughing symphony'! Ha! That's exactly what it was like and we LOVE Vick's, too! I definitely wish I could be sick instead of my kiddos. Luckily, they are very resilient and feeling better now. :) Thank you for your sweet comments!
