Butterfly and Chicken Life Cycles Activities and More!

We got an early start to our Spring Break today in the form of an unexpected snow day! :) While I'm not a huge fan of having to keep extending our school year, I have to admit that a day off on the same day Scrappin' Doodles offers a 25% off coupon is a pretty good day in my book!

I had lots of time today to create a few new life cycles units, a new chicken/hen hundreds chart. I am working on a couple of freebies that I will be posting over the next week.

It is $1 less than the other two because I didn't include an emergent reader with it.

Where's the Spider? Postional Words Emergent Reader and Retelling Wristband

We're doing a unit on Bats & Spiders this week, so I created an Emergent Reader called Where's the Spider? for my kiddos to practice sight words and positional words. It includes positional word cards to match with corresponding spider positions, as well as, a retelling wristband that would be great for assessment. Check it out on TpT by clicking the picture above!

Test Post (Sorry!) Free Printable Animals in the Barnyard

***Feel free to download this freebie if you want. It is about position words. I have an emergent reader to go with it, too. I will be offering it as a free set soon.

Right now I'm just playing around with iframes to figure out which way is easiest to add embedded Google Docs. :)

Apple Positional Words & Magnets

I can't wait to include a photo of the apple magnet positional page when we have it in action. My magnet was having a hard time staying glued to our laminating film. :) I will post a picture as soon as I can. Kids think these are magical!
