Simple Storybook STEM: Flying Butterfly

Simple Storybook STEM: Flying Butterfly
After listening to the story The Very Impatient Caterpillar create a flying butterfly using the materials below. Explain to someone how your butterfly compared to the butterfly in the video.

You will need:
wire
wire cutters
rubber band
pencil
paper (cardstock or thick construction paper)
scissors
tape

(This YouTube read aloud video link will be removed from my blog after June 30, 2020, as I do not know who has been granted permission from publishers to read these stories on YouTube during COVID-19 school closures.)

Book used in this activity:
The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach
